About us

We are a UK-based environmental research company in Cambridge specialising in providing scientifically-informed and robust advice for the better management of the world's ecosystems.  Our expertise lies in understanding and exposing the processes, functions and benefits of complex environmental systems such as coastlines. Through this we help to direct policy and management for greater sustainability. Our unique approach allows us to capture complex, high-dimensionality system interactions and provide unprecedented depth of understanding.

Many of the data acquisition and analysis techniqes we use are equally applicable to terrestrial environments, where environmental services include habitat inventory and agricultural productivity mapping.

Collaborations and Community

We are embedded within the academic community and conduct our own blue-skies research in addition to client-led projects. We are always interested in collaborations where our expertise might add capacity. Please get in touch.

Sharing the Knowledge

We believe that practices are most sustainable when knowldge generation is in the hands of those applying it. We therefore develop protocols, processing pipelines and analytics using open-source platforms and, wherever possible, open data. We are happy to provide training in any or all of these so that you and your organisation are in a position to continue to improve your environmental management practices and knowledge-base
